Wende Zomnir- Creative Director

[Adler,R. 2014] Wende Zomnir is the creative director of Urban Decay as well as a Co-Founder of the brand.  Wende and Sandy Lener set up the brand when they realised there was a gap in the market for bright colours within the makeup industry. 

I've recently read an interview Beauty High had with Wendy, I found it really interesting to find how they come up with products and names and where all their inspiration is from. 

When asked how they get inspiration for their new products this is what Wende replied. 
"We’re looking at what’s sold well for us, we’re looking at beauty as a category, we’re looking at fashion, we’re looking at everything and just sort of getting inspiration."

She also mentions how if she is doing something a different way from her normal Urban Decay products, that makes her develop a product within the line. An example of this is the new Spring 2015 Sheer Lipsticks. within their Youtube Video she mentions how she use to mix the lipstick formulas with lipgloss and thought a better idea would just to be produce a lipstick like this. 

Wende also states they take ideas off everyone even the receptionist on the front desk down to the counter girls and guys, they want to know what the customers want and what products are lacking just that extra push.
